      Comments about Vic Firth Timpani Mallet Recover Kit:

      For some reason, these recovering felts are hard to find, but provide the greatest money savings in percussion equipment for any band director or timpani player. When I use them to recover a set of mallets, I wrap my mallets in a cloth and then put them in a vice in order to give the felts a snug fit. If you don't have a vice, ask a friend to help hold the mallets while you work.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
