Comments about Rode Microphones M2 Handheld Condenser Microphone:

I am using this as a vocal mic, and it does a good job of cutting through the mix. The lows are rich and highs are crisp. In my opinion, definitely worth the price.

Comments about Rode Microphones M2 Handheld Condenser Microphone:

I purchased four M2 mics....When I plugged one in my mixer it worked fine...However, when I plugged in the other Three mics, they each lost phantom powere except the first...I have used other brand of condensor mics simultaneously and have never had a problem. It seems that they take a lot of power. I had to send them back and exchange them..The mic holder was extremely hard to adjust the angle...I think these mics sound really good, but be careful of the power supply issue. I know my mixer is not to blame. I did not want to spend another $200 to get individual power supplies for each mic...Personally, I prefer mics that are powered with a battery...Hey look, it is a bit of a nuisance, but you don't have to worry about your phantom powere supply..Perhaps all condensor mics should be designed to be used with or without a battery....
