Comments about Tama Roadpro Boom with Detachable Counterweight Cymbal Stand:

I have some Japanese Tama stands from the 80's that are still solid today. Needed some replacements for some old Ludwig hardware and decided to give RoadPros a try. These are great stands. I love how smooth the legs fold in and out. The tilter is great. These feel like they will hold up for many years to come. The only minor negative I can think of is the clamp joints on the base seem a little wobbly. They don't slip though and hold my heavy Zildjians just fine.

Comments about Tama Roadpro Boom with Detachable Counterweight Cymbal Stand:

Real solid stand. Lightweight compared to the old Tama weighted boomstands. I use it for a 16in crash, mostly extended. It is real stable for that size of cymbal

        Great stand!

Comments about Tama Roadpro Boom with Detachable Counterweight Cymbal Stand:

This stand is outSTANDing, haha. It's definately worth the money but I would recommend actually going to a store and seeing what you like. I however, bought it out of impulse on the website. Great stand overall.Pros: Adjusting is very smooth. Great height range. Holds a pretty good amount of weight. Legs branch out quite a bit. Cons: The actual stand is sort of heavy, but I guess that could be a pro, because it's stable. I recommend this, but I'd recommend seeing what else is out there as well.

        It's great

Comments about Tama Roadpro Boom with Detachable Counterweight Cymbal Stand:

It's solid, very quiet adjustment. Doesn't rattle or make any sort of noise when a cymbal is played on it. The counter weight is really helpful with larger ride cymbals, like my 22" Sabian AA Ride. This is a solid buy, it's a little expensive, but you can rest assured that it will not fail you.

        Outstanding

Comments about Tama Roadpro Boom with Detachable Counterweight Cymbal Stand:

I just got this in today. I also own the roadpro and stage master boom/straight convertible stands. This bad boy is built like a tank. It is sturdy enough to hold the hugest, heaviest cymbal you can think of and clamp on a couple more using Tama's clamp system. If you want something that will hold multiple cymbals and not budge, this is your stand.
