A digital mixer, unlike analog mixing desks, takes an analog signal such as a voice or guitar recorded with a microphone, and converts that electronic signal into a piece of digital data. This data can them be manipulated the same way an analog signal is. The difference is the sound is the changes are made by whatever software you are using, rather than by applying external effects to the sound via the mixer. In order to retain much of the look and feel of an analog mixer, digital mixers have retained many of the same features, and will still have faders etc. A digital mixer will allow you to program your settings, including fader settings, so that the mix can be recalled upon returning to the track. As with everything we sell, all our digital mixers are supported by our price & satisfaction guarantees and free standard shipping applies to all orders except heavy items.
