      Great Deal

Comments about Audix D6 Kick Drum Mic with Cable and Stand:

Best deal out there. First of all we all know the mike is fantastic. You will have a hard time finding it a better deal out there. Mic is great, cable is so-so ( great to have a 20 foot backup) then you also get the stand. I was expecting a cheap stand. I couldn't be more wrong. This thing is great and heavy duty. With a sturdy tripod base it will not tip over like other ones out there. Price out the individual pieces and try to find a better deal. Bottom line is if you need a great bass drum mic and a stand for it, just get it.

Comments about Audix D6 Kick Drum Mic with Cable and Stand:

This mic is awesome. I was looking for something for alive application so my bass drum would be more pronounced during shows. I did alotttttttt of research before buying and the preset eq is perfect. Even if your playing jazz or rock it just a matter of placement, for rock put it about 5 inches away from the beater inside the head and tilt it off center just slightly, for jazz put it farther back about 8 inches for a more full body sound rather than a punch sound. I was contimplating getting the shure beta 52 but this mic out does it by farrrrr. Great buy and great for recording also, you seriously wont be dissapointed just save some cash and stop thinking about it and get this mic.
      Beatiful low end
cam in perfect condition, stand is very sturdy. It doesnt go down that low so make sure kick port is at least half way up.
