Awesome, but doesntsound anything similar to Wuhan

    Comments about Agazarian Traditional China:

Great cymbal and packs a great attacking sond thats perfect for that ABR or anything your playing
but tends to have a bellish ring which can set off bad attention and current dislike to the cymbal itself, but really starts to kick in if you play with a band and also you cant tell the ringiness from far away either

    Yeah, its cheap

Like everyone else in these reviews, I went to guitar center, found this instead of wuhan, came back.
But I wasn't disappointed, it's a 50 dollar hand made china. What would you expect from a cheap china? I had 0 expectations, I expected it to sound like complete trash. And it does, but it in a very good sounding way. It's hard to explain, but this is a great china. MY previous AAX 14inch mini chinese was a heck of a lot better, yes. But this gets the job done for shows and creating that punch for the break down.
One of the things, I really HATE about this though, is the fact that I can't mount it upside down because my screws for my boom stand are too big and collide with in "inner hole" on the cymbal, so now it is at risk of breaking even faster. But oh well.
Well, its a 50 dollar cymbal. And it sounds like trash, but thats good for a cheap china.
    Good for me.
I'm not a sponsored drummer who always gets a replacement or what he wants because he said so, most of aren't. So we have to be cheap sometimes when desperate times call for desperate measures.

I have a show TODAY and I picked this up on sunday for band practice to get a feel for it. Guys said they didn't have a problem with it, but they miss my even louder AAX 14 mini chinese.

If you need to get something dirt cheap in a hurry for a show, or just low on money and want to add a cymbal to your set, this is the way to go. Or a wuhan. Either one works.

    Pretty decent china...

    Comments about Agazarian Traditional China:

Like many of the reviews I have seen, I went into Guitar Center looking for a Wuhan china. I looked on their cymbal wall, and bypassed Agazarian with barely a glance. I asked the guy at the counter if they had any Wuhans. He pointed to these and said they didn't, but Agazarians were equivalent. I bought it and paid for the warranty, just in case, and I took it home. I tried it, and I was blown away. For a $70 18" china, this is amazing. It is definitely trashy, but it is supposed to be! I don't know how similar they are to Wuhan, because I have never played Wuhans, but this is very, VERY good for the price. REMEMBER, THOUGH - they are not built to last, and they are very trashy. If you don't like trashy, then you don't want to get this, and it will NOT be the last china you buy. If you get this at Guitar Center, get the $17 warranty, and if you break it in 2 years, then you get your money back.

    Don't waste your money.

    Comments about Agazarian Traditional China:

I went to my local guitar center looking for a Wuhan china because mine had just cracked. I asked the guy in the drum department for a Wuhan and he told me that they don't sell those anymore, instead they sell Agazarian, and they are "basically" the same thing. Those drum department guys are always really helpful so I just bought it. I took it home and it sounded awful. Nothing like the Wuhan. It wasn't very trashy at all and didn't have the sound I wanted. Also, I ran my finger around the edge of it and it gave me a cut, so the edges weren't even smooth! Returned it the next day and ordered a Wuhan.Basically if you want a good cheap china, go with a Wuhan and don't waste your money on this.

    not what i expected

    By keeganstein

    Comments about Agazarian Traditional China:

i went to order a wuhan china after hearing about all the good things about it. instead i was told that they only sold agazarian chinas, no more wuhans. but i was assured that they were basicly the exact same thing. i know all cymbals even the same brand, type and size will sound different, but this was just...bad. it just didnt sound like a china, just a thick piece of random metal put on shelves and sold for profit.
