I like the look and feel, it initialy sounds bright and washy, with a quick soft decay. I like it in my snare rudiment practice, used in conjunction with my bell cymbal, either before the bell or after, creates a nice sequence of sound. The price is great for the sound you get. If you hit hard, you should look at a thicker cymbal.
I have the 10" and it has a slight china splashy sound, it is thin, has a nice bright initial response and a fast soft decay. Good addition for those that want to add a little spice to their kit. Heavy hitters should look at a thicker splash.
It has the look that some craftsmanship went into this cymbal. It is bright in brass color, thin in nature and sound. I believe it will last a long time if cleaned occasionaly, and hit with only enough force to create the cut through sound a splash is designed for. Good purchase price.
For the price it is a good cymbal, it is very much what I expected, and its sound has found a place in my style.

These cymbals' have a newer hammering style than the old western Wuhan's!You can tell this by the round hammer marks'!This is to tension the cymbal and hopefully make them sound more like an Armanian/Turkish cymbal! Sometimes it works' and sometimes' it doesn't! So you may get trashy china tones like a china splash.
            B20 Bronze.Hand-made in China.lot's of dark overtones'!
These are thin cymbals. If you are a Heavy to Thrash drummer,I would suggest something thicker!
These cymbals' all tend to have a china sound to them, unless you get lucky. Some do sound like older zildjian's!

              Comments about Agazarian Traditional Splash:

I found this in a 10" at GC one day, just looking around. Walked by, gave it a little whack and was knocked out! If I remember correctly, I paid somewhere in the teens for it. It's my favorite of four spashes that I own, incl. Zildgian, Wuhan, and Paiste. This one has the least amount of trash to it. I often use it as my ONLY crash cymbal when playing tiny venues with a little drum kit consisting of a 20" Z & Cie ride, 12" hats, an 18" Gretsch kick, a 10" Jingle Snare, and a Stanton Moore Pandiero-as-floor-tom.

Problem with buying one of these though, is you might not know what you will get, if you can't actually hit it & hear it first...like another reviewer mentioned. But for the price, what the heck?

I highly recommend adding one of these to your kit...and try it upside down too, for yet another great texture.

Great splash for the money. Sounds as a splash should. For a special effects / enhancement cymbal, one should not have to pay hundred + for it considering you should only hit it sparingly.

After returning the first one because of a factory defect, the replacement is good. Added as an inverted sizzle on top of my crash cymbal, it adds shimmer and another splash when stuck individually. I would recommend it.

I compared the two 8" Traditional Splash cymbals.
Both similar in price. The Wuhan is by far the superior product. While the Agazarian is still useful as I use three different 8" splash cymbals on my kit. The Agazarian has a trashy china sound that I use in tandom with other china cymbals. Wuhan for the money is the best value. From novice to experienced drummers purchasing a new set of cymbals for your practice kit or your main setup, I would recommend a complete set of the new Wuhan Traditional and Linear Cymbal product lines.

Remember this is my personal opinion. I encourage others to do their own comparison prior to purchase to find cymbals that fit your specific genre or playing style.

                      Comments about Agazarian Traditional Splash:

I picked up a 10" version of this Agazarian splash cymbal on a whim at a local music store. It was my first splash and I figured I'd just use it until I could afford something better. However, after using it in tandem with the rest of my kit, I found that I quite liked the style and sound of the splash. It's trashy and washy and has a hard, dark attack with a quick decay (reminds me of the style of Wuhan chinas).

It may not be the right sound for every type of music, but I really like it.
