A clear, single ply, medium-weight bass drumhead, the Super-Kick I also features the "Floating Muffling System." A narrow felt muffle ring is attached to the backside of the drumhead to produce a low-end, well-defined punchy sound.

Features:

Theses were perfect for the sound I was looking for. I'm in two different bands that require two total different sounds and my bass wasn't fining me that til I got theses heads. I can put a pillow in for one band for that punchy sounds or for the other band I can take it out and have that loose but full sound we were looking for. All in all Aquarian did awesome with these heads.

Great Product and A Great choice for lots of different styles.

Features:

The floating muffling system is a high quality feature.  Not cheesey at all and very functional!

Quality:

These heads are tough and well constructed.

 

I like to kick very very hard, and the batter head is taking it like a champ!

The beater pad is also of great quality and tough.

Value:

I give the value a 10 because I've lots of different kick heads over the last 5 years of touring, but this one is my new favorite.

 

There is NO CHANCE you will find something better for this price.

Overall:

I'll keep this simple. This head is wonderful because...

 

-It sounds great on lots of different styles of music. (Rock, Punk, Jazz, and Metal)

-It holds up well against my tough playing and lots of touring.

-It is practically stealing for this price.

Right out of the box, I thought these heads ROCKED! Perfectly matched and the included muffle rings are just the right touch for the punch these heads deliver. Have always used their drum heads, and this was my first Aquarian Bass Drum Head purchase. It won't be my last. I highly recommend trying this matched pack out.

Aquarian Super Kick 1 Bass Drum Head Set

Features:

Unmatched depth and solid tone without losing any punch or reflex feel against the pedal. No unwanted ringing or high over tones.

Quality:

Tunes easily and quickly. I have been using this set on my DW 22" for several months and they still sound as good as the day I installed them.

Value:

If you want this quality in my opinion the price is cheap. I would have spent more to get this tone!

Overall:

Great sound, looks, and function. Heads stay in tune better than most when going from one temperature to another such as traveling to a club or playing on an outdoor stage.

RECOMMEND FOR EVERY KIT ON THE MARKET!!

Aquarian really takes the BASS drum to another level.. The touch free muffling system is AWESOME. Use it on all three of my touring and studio kits!!! But this is the standard super kick 1.. I will say I am partial to the 2.. But its really a preference thing..

Two thumbs up with quality!

Cant beat this price!!
