Very good drumhead. Gives a nice deep sound. Didn't take forever to tune. Doesn't have a terrible overtone.

INCREDIBLE!!!

I am a professional drummer. Currently, I have 3 kits: Pearl Export, Tama Stage Star, Ludwig Vistalite. I read good reviews about the Aquarian II heads, so I put them on my Pearl set first.(Toms and snare.)  The difference between these heads and others (i.e. Remo) is absolutely astounding!!!   Much "fatter" sound.  Our group plays oldies, classic rock, 70's, 80's stuff.  For this application, these heads are great!!  I have since put them on my TAMA kit - with the same result - fantastic sound!!  AND they are really easy to tune!  These reasonably priced heads are - without a doubt - THE BEST product on the market - in my opinion. I do not use my Ludwig kit on stage much - but if I decide to begin using it on stage - these Aquarian heads will go on it first!!

i think they are underpriced if you ask me

the sound is great to ME it fits all settings

it doesnt have much bounce but i got used to it in like 3 hits

NO MOON GEL REQUIRED

it even sounds good on off brand drums (like my first act 10 inch and 13 tom)

Warm...Like a tube Bass Amp

I have a Gretsch Catalina Birch Fusion kit. The toms are shallow and birch shells have a lot of mids and high's. I wanted some Heads to warm them up and give them some low's. These heads did the trick and then some. My kit sounds way better, fuller, and projects like never before. Tuning was easy. Bottom heads a tad higher then the batter heads. tune low about a quarter turn to start and adjust from there. easy peasy lemon squeezy! I have Aquarian heads on my entire kit and it sound awesome! Two words...Buy them!

I came from using Evans EC2 heads, and as good as they are these make the drum sound so completely different.  You can tune them loose, or tight and you will still get that deep sound that is promised.  The tuning range is spectacular, these will now be the only heads i use for my current style of music.
