Aquarian Super-2 drumheads sound louder, fuller, and more powerful than conventional two-ply heads, with the added over-ring control and focus of Studio-X Rings. They have great attack, projection, and depth unlike any other drumheads. The patented Safe-T-Loc hoop prevents the head from slipping and the "Sound Curve" collar design provides "Responsive Tuning." With "Responsive Tuning," one turn of the drum key and Super-2 heads react. A free tuning sheet is enclosed with each Super-2 drumhead. Attack, projection, resonance, and "Responsive Tuning" are what Super-2's are all about.

These heads produce a nice attack with a medium sustain. I also appreciate the warm tone these drum heads produce. I have been a drummer for nearly 40 years and a professional drummer for the last 15 years. I have to admit that I have always been faithful to Remo Pinstripes and Ambassador heads, depending on playing in a recording studio or out live. Recently our church bought a new drumset and purchased Aquarium drum heads. WOW! I was impressed beyond belief! I am now switching to these heads and purchasing an entire replacement set as well. I am a hard hitting drummer and these heads hold up well. I have now has issues with the heads denting. These heads also come with a tuning aid and if you follow it, tuning is fast and simple with remarkable results! I will not have to switch between heads any longer! My snare, toms, and bass will have these heads on them. I highly recommend these heads, regardless if you are a novice drummer, session drummer, or professional drummer.

Well, I have tried every head out there for my toms. A search for that awesome sound, deep, mellow, full and rich with projection! I tried the EC2 Coated and clear, Remo emps, black suede etc, It just wasnt quite there with any of them. I went ahead and ordered these on a hail mary. Let me tell you these are the best tom tom head I have ever heard anywhere! If you want that studio deep tom sound you must buy these heads! The durability is fantastic, there is no "plastic" sound when the head is struck, they are plenty loud! Thanks Aquarian for the best sounding tom head in the world!

These are the fastest tuning heads that I have ever tried, period. They have a nice attack with medium sustain and a Very warm tone. A fairly wide tunning range is also a plus. I placed them on the 10, 12 and 14 inch toms of my DW Collectors studio kit and I tuned the kit in about 5 minutes. Just unbelievably quick if you follow the head tuning sheets provided with the heads. Great job Aquariun!

I bought these Super 2 heads a couple weeks ago and they are probably one of the better sounding heads out there (at least out of the ones I have purchased)However, after just a few sessions, they were already dented. I'm a bit of a heavy hitter, so that might be part of it. But these heads were damaged faster than any other heads I have ever bought ((Remo, Evans, Attack, and other Aquarians))I would recommend these heads to people who don't play hard, but not anyone else. Basically, they sound really good but don't last long at all.
