These are medium weight Single Ply heads.  With that being said, they produce a warm, open tone with medium attack and a little bit of punch.  They sound great with sound rings on them or some dampening.  They hold up great and last a long time...I play hard and they take a beating!  Also they are not hard to tune at all, in fact they were the easiest I have ever tuned.  The snare sounds great, the coating is OK, and I recomend getting the pack with the bass head cuz that thing kicks a** too, all you need is a little pillow.  So go ahead and try these out for yourself, you can't beat them for the price.  You can put new heads on your whole kit for the price of one bass head from other brands.

I bought these because i needed some cheap resonant heads, I must say, they tuned up pretty easy the look good and improved the sound of my drums. I have remo pinstripes on the batter side and these seem to work really well with those. Also they're dirt cheap, I didnt use the snare head so I don't know about that but I think these are pretty awesome as resonant heads.

i had them tuned high, but had to lower them because my band plays in C. they sound good high, but low they sound like crap so don't buy them if you tune your drums lower than average.

A huge upgrade from my factory heads, although I defiantly don?t recommend them, they basically suck, but the factory ones sucked worse!

i'm using these as the resonant heads on my pearl exports, and they do just fine. i'm kind of broke, so i figured these would do, and i was right. they ring a lot, but i threw some tape across them to dampen them and they sound pretty good. these would be perfect if you're in my situation (strapped for cash) or if you're a beginner or whatever. as long as you know how to tune your kit, you'll be fine. and dampen them like i did.
