Good Drum Heads

Pros:

Cheap

Durable

Sound Good

Neutral:

Better for higher tunings

Cons:

Scuffs easily

I bought these in order to replace the stock heads on my no-name drum kit. I love all these heads, especially the bass and snare. The bass has good punch and fullness, and the snare really cuts through. These are single ply, so they are more designed for higher tunings, and are more open and resonant (especially the toms), so they do not really have a sound for heavy rock or metal or something. If you're poor and/or like the sound of single plys, these are awesome.

I am a heavy and fast hitter, and i've had no problems with denting or tearing. A lot of scuffing, but that's only visual.

These are a great value. I would put these on the same level as remos and evans. These just are the bare minimum; stripped down with no fancy muffling or rings or whatever.

these heads are straight up g. i threw them on my drums as resonent, and they were half the price of remo ambassadors and sound great. tourqe them down, and no need for muffling, its a great CLEAN SOUND. and bass is wonderful. its NOT TONELESS, and you will need some dampening for it, but do you ever not for any bd head? i recommend these to anyone who wants a crisp, clean, well balanced sound all around. your drums will sound pro fo sho.

I was sucked in by all the great reviews and sad to say these drum heads are crap! I replaced my 12 year old Evans G2s with these ATTACK crap heads and I busted the 14" tom head at the 1st practice and the snare head busted in the middle of a show. Looks like I will be putting my old Evans back on.

I was skeptical about trying attack heads again since the last time I tried them was when they first came out in the early 90s when they were horrible and I litterlly wore them out in one rehearsal. However, these are not the same heads they were back then. These heads are just as good as Remo or Evans, and the price is much much better. I have a 6 piece kit that I had to buy an extra 14" clear ambassador at GC to finish off the kit, and these clear single ply heads sound nearly exactly like the clear ambassadors. I don't really think they're any louder like the company states, but that doesn't matter to me. Drums are loud period. The kick and snare head especially in this deal are top notch. This kick drum head is one of the best sounding ones I have heard in a long time, and the snare head has a beautiful open tone with tons of sustain. I'm no noob, been playing drums for 24 years. My only wish is that they had this same pack in a coated version, but the clears sound awesome too. I'll be buying attack heads from now on.
