When I first got these pedals they took some time to get used to. I play the Iron Cobras so I was used to lots of power, but these give you almost none, unless you play with triggers which these are basically made for. The speed though is unreal. If you have the foot speed you can do 250 and up easily, which is good for what I play (Extreme Metal). They are also very light which is a plus. Now let me talk about the bad thing. When I got these the slave pedal loosened almost immediately causing the footboard to hit the plate on every stroke. I tried fixing this multiple times but it kept on loosening. After a while of this seemingly irreversible problem I just sold them and switched back to the Iron Cobras. I'm sure I could have done more but I don't really have the time to keep fixing a problem which shouldn't happen in the first place. Bottom line: If you play extreme metal (which these are basically meant to be used for) and use triggers, then this pedal is probably the one you want (though I haven't tried Trick yet) but if you want something that doesn't have an insane price tag and can give you the power you need, I suggest buying the Iron Cobras or maybe a Pearl Eliminator.

Comments about Axis A2 Double Pedal:
I recomend these to anyone wishing to play fast, there are more pedals out there but these things have speed to them
A family member gave me a pair of these that were over ten years old. They still funtion extremely well. Very sensitive and I have no issue with power. Though you might want to try them before you buy them.
A little expensive, but if you have the money, do it
Comments about Axis A2 Double Pedal:
these pedals are light, and pretty fast. however, they are sorely lacking in terms of power. ive found that iron cobras are just as fast, if not faster, and much more powerful. the universal joint in top notch though, easily the best ive ever seen. try it before you buy it
Comments about Axis A2 Double Pedal:
Great product, terrible website.I purchased these AXIS pedals and on the same day I received them from UPS, I got an email offer from them that would've saved me $75.00. Upon emailing them, they said that I was not eligible for the offer even though they advertise a 45 day price guarantee on the website.I recommend the pedals, just get them from a better website or go to a music store in person.
Comments about Axis A2 Double Pedal:
I bought these pedals used on craigslist from someone who said he bought them five years before. they are still solid and fast, the adjustments are awesome, you can change the feel instantly, and the only thing wrong with them are two of the bearings are wearing out but the pedals are still fully operational and awesome
Comments about Axis A2 Double Pedal:
These pedals react instantly to your movement. It takes some getting used to. You get a lot more out of it with less work. They are very fast, and have as much power as any other pedals. All you need to do is take a little time to adjust it (took me about 5 min. to get as much power as a dw 5000) and then practice on them for a while and fine tune your adjustments. Your feet move and you hear bass drums. It's like there are no pedals there. Absolutely dead quiet and no play anywhere.
Comments about Axis A2 Double Pedal:
I use these pedals in my metal band a long with DW 5000's and i find these definately have a better feel. They are unbelievably fast, light and responsive. As far as techniques like heal toe i works great. Pretty pricy tho, that is the only downside

Comments about Axis A2 Double Pedal:
This pedals are the best you can get. They are priced very high but also meet every standard no matter how high. These pedals are very quiet, quick and very adjustable. The pedals may feel a little funny at first but you get use to them and just improve from there. If you have the money get the longboards but if you can't you loss nothing from getting these.
Comments about Axis A2 Double Pedal:
This is the most amazing pedal I've ever played with. It's so smooth, fast and powerful it's almost ridiculous. I've played Mapex, Pearl, Gibraltar, DW and Tama pedals before an none, and I mean NONE of those brands and pedals come even close to the Axis. This pedal works "with" you, not against you as some pedals do.Get one now, it's worth it!!!
Comments about Axis A2 Double Pedal:
After buing a drum set from a friend. i was suprised to recive a axis double pedal. but i must say it was good at first but little by little it began to wear out and the sring was broken and the footboard holder atachment to the beater broke. Now im looking foward to buying some iron cobras. And one thing i dint like about the axis that its to ligth my left foot kept jumpin aroun and moving fowar. suggestion! They are the best out there but its time for me to move on.
