I just received my Axis AX-A Pedal today... Right out of the box it played great!I messed with the adjustments but found it was set up just right straight from the factory. This thing did just what my foot told it to do with no effort. Smooth, easy and built to last. I read some complaints about the price, but you know what they say, "You get what you pay for." I've played several styles of pedals over the years including high end DW stuff but this one is the best! I also read that this pedal takes some getting use to... Not true, at least for me. This thing is a perfect fit! Great job Axis!

I have 2 of these and I love them. It's light weight, gets excellent action and is a great design. You just have to make sure you don't lose or remove the 2 circular black rubber bumpers on the top front, or the threaded rod for the mounting clamp will over extend and rub a gash on the side of the toe piece. I recomment this pedal to anyone from beginners to the pro's. It's an EXCELLENT, fast, responsive and well made pedal. Only gripe (very small one) is that it only comes with 1 beater mallot and it's a hard cannon! For the $, I think they can give you another as well, or a reversable head with one padded side.

The Axis A pedal is without a doubt the best bass drum pedal out there.  The bearings make it the smoothest, the materials make it the lightest, and the balanced design make it the fastest.  I recommend this pedal to any drummer who is looking to improve his sound.  Some would say that it is too expensive, but for a pedal that lasts forever, it is well worth it.

I've had this pedal for over a year, and it is hands down the best pedal I've ever owned in 20 years of playing.  It makes my DW pedals look like toys.  It feels so solid.  There is NO - zero - lateral movement on the board, and the action is amazingly consistent.  It will be the last pedal you ever buy.  Worth every penny - seriously.

I got this on for christmasand I first I hated it. Compared to my last pedal it bounced back to fast. After a hour or so you get the feel of it. It can do double bass beat andall that other good stuff. Not to good for all you heavy/death metal players. Would recommend to anyone who respects the bass drum.
