Comments about Axis Pro Clutch Hi-Hat Cymbal Clutch:

All i can say is that this clutch is the best clutch i have ever used. First let me start by giving the only two downsides of using this product: 1) there is no drop lever, so if you play double bass and want to get the closed sound, you will have to manually drop the clutch, and 2) its confusing at first when you try and put it on, and they do not include instructions. If you mess with it though, its not really that hard.

The definition it adds to your hi hat is instantly noticeable. I smiled when i first put my hi hats on with this clutch, it was really awesome hearing the increased definition. It was like someone had put a little mic over the hats.

The adjustability of this product, much like the axis pedals, and hi hat stand is out of this world. Not only does it add definition, but it gives you the ability to tilt your top hat. So you can give it a 'trashier' sound.

I have been playing drums for the last 18 years, and 15 of which i have been playing professionally. All i can say is, this clutch is a really innovative, and irreplaceable piece of hardware. I would definitely recommend it, and would recommend all the other axis products. They are truly leading the way in ingenuity when it comes to the advancement of drummers.
