A shell pack from Crush that perfects the drum trend that swept rock arenas in the 70s.

This Crush Acrylic 5-Piece Shell Pack features 100% seamless acrylic shells. These drums possess some sustain, yet maintain a quick decay. This combination produces a fat attack that you only find in seemless acrylic shells. Crush Acrylic toms come fitted with 2.3mm hoops, isolation mounts, and mounting hardware. Snare drums come with 2.3mm reverse-flange hoops as a standard feature, while bass drums have matching acrylic hoops. All drums feature brooding, exclusive black hardware for a stark contrast to the transparent setup.

The Crush Acrylic drum line is built with the highest standards and is by far the most affordable seamless acrylic drums on the market.

    Cymbals and hardware sold separately.

THE KIT IS SURELY A EYE CATCHER .. I PLAYED AROUND VARIOUS HEADS I FOUND THAT THE EVANS G14 WORK GREAT YOU CAN MANAGE THE SOUND BETTER..BUT I USE THE EVANS HYDROLICS CLEAR AND ON THE BOTTOM OF MY FLOOR TOM IT DEADENS THE SOUND MORE ON MY 16INC AND I USE THE FACTORY BOTTOM HEAD ON MY 14IN. FLOOR TOM FOR A SLIGHTLY FLAT BUT WITH A LITTLE ROUNDNESS TO THE TONE..THE BEST , I MEAN THE BEST SNARE HEAD I HAVE FOUND FOR ANY SNARE AND ESPECIALLY FOR THIS THE EVANS HYBRID HEAD..HANDS DOWN IN 45 YEARS HAVENT HAD A HEAD AS VERSITILLE AS THIS ONE IS..THE KIS ACTUALLY SOUNDS GOOD IN THE STUDIO USING THESE HEADS..

If you are looking at ordering this kit, be aware that it will take MUCH longer than the website says. I ordered mine four months ago and still no word on it. I'm really disappointed with musicians friend for misleading me and telling me inaccurate backorder dates.

Comments about Crush Drums & Percussion Acrylic Series 5-Piece Shell Pack:

I agree with the first review that this kit sounds harsh when unmuted. I use evans rings for a slight mute and the results are awesome. Warm, fat and BIG tom tone. The kit comes with heads, that's all I can say about them. Pure junk! I replaced them with Remo Pinstripes and a Remo Emperor X for snare. Couldn't be happier! On the kick I installed an Evans emad and that sounds fantastic too. I was willing to spend vastly more for a new kit but nothing else available had the warm fat tones of this kit except for other acrylics and they all cost 3x the price. So I elected not to throw money down the drain and I opted for the Crush acrylics. Not a moment of regret! If you like drums with a heavy "thunk", this kit is for you.

Comments about Crush Drums & Percussion Acrylic Series 5-Piece Shell Pack:

This Kit is amazing. I got it for my birthday present and loved it since. but id reccomend changing the heads and muting them. unmuted they sound like toys. but if properly muted they sound amazing. the difference is unexplainable. the only major cons are they are very loud. and that sucks for upcoming bands that play small venues. and that they are heavy. VERY heavy. dont know ewhat else to say.. they are breath taking and eye catching. i would reccomend this to any and everyone.
