Ash wood sounds great nice thick bottom end. Love the big bass drum its refreshing when wanting more bass drum this kick delievers. Toms sound great no problems staying in tune, or assembly of kit.

This is a beautiful kit  worth way more then what its being sold at. Just beause its not a gretsch, pearl, tama or any other big name does not mean this kit doesn't deliever. The satin black finish is gorgeous.  After three months of playing it still looks like it was delievered yesterday.

My personal opinion I love this kit the price, sound, and quality can't be beat. My advice don't sleep on this company  they deliever. The drums deliever all around big booming bass drum awesome tom sound, and unbelievable finish.

the sound is unreal! comes with quality heads too so you dont need to purchase any right off the gate which is deffinetley a money saver. i am using Moon Gell dampening pads which are very nice id consider picking up a few sets not very exspensive either, id say these drums are a must buy if your in the market for a new set couldnt be more pleased! keep it going crush!

for the value? i would have paid much more for the sound quality these drums produce.

These drums are the best I've certainly ever owned, but are also some of the best I've ever heard. Amazing low end and attack across the board especially in the kick. They sound amazing by themselves, but pair that with some good mics and you will not be disappointed. On top of incredible sound the transparent natural wood grain finish is absolutely gorgeous. I ordered the transparent satin green and was a little worried about it being too green but I'm glad I did because they look fantastic. I get compliments on these drums every single show I play. Theres a reason why these drums are almost always on backorder. They are simply amazing and the price makes them even better! You'll pay more than double to match the quality and sound in any other brand. Support the small companies because they are making much better drums than the mega corps.

so, i play drums in my church band, and last sunday was our last sunday with electric drums. i picked out crush hoping for the best because they were new and had good reviews. they came in yesterday, and i set them up. i couldnt be more thrilled!

first, the 10 & 12 inch toms, and the snare were already in decent tuning and after just a few small adjustments, they sound amazing! great right out of the box! the kick takes a good bit of tuning, but its very full sounding. it gives a nice big thud. the 16 inch floor tom sounds perfect.

second, it comes with the best factory snare i have ever played that came with the kit. crush did a great job with every feature on the kit. its somewhat quick and easy to set up. i got it all unboxed, put together, tuned, and set up in about an hour and a half.

some people might say "this is the best kit you can get for the price" but i disagree. this is the best kit i have EVER played. ive played a wide range, dw, pearl, and custom drums. if you want an amazing kit, go with this one for sure! the stock heads are remo so dont get in a rush replacing them, theyre fine. (also a plus) buy it now!

This is one of the best sounding drums sets I have ever heard. I was skeptical at first thinking that a fresh out of the gate company would have a good enough product that I was looking for. This drum set has blown my thoughts out of the water and more. I have never seen, heard or played such a beautiful looking/sounding drum set such as this one. The ash shells are a great sounding new concept and the shell colors are brilliant. If you want a fantastic sounding drum set that will have people staring this is the set to get! Way to go Crush!
