ddrum's reentry into the e-drum market.
The DD1M includes 50 preset sounds as well as basic editing functions for the sound bank. The DD1M also has a USB out and a Aux In with an independent volume control for an MP3 source.
The d1M drum module is a very capable and versatile control center for your triggers. With 50 editable onboard kits, you can go from a rock groove to a Caribbean beat or a custom groove with a simple push of a button. If you are considering the addition of a couple of electronic pieces for your acoustic kit or adding triggers to them, you really need a DD1M drum module.
Included with this module is the ddrum Red Shot Trigger Kit, which is a 5-piece trigger pack to transform your existing acoustic kit into an electronic kit.
The Red Shot Trigger is the low cost alternative in the drum trigger line. They come in two different models: Snare-Tom Trigger and Kick Drum Trigger. They are mounted onto the hoop with one of the standard tension rods. The Red Shot Trigger features the same type of sensor as the Acoustic Trigger but has a stripped-down mechanical construction. The drum Red Shot Trigger features a 1/4" jack for connection to the sound module.

Comments about ddrum DD1 Drum Module and RedShot Trigger Pack:
I have owned and played most modules and triggers over the years and I have always had a thing for the old ddrum products. I would never put this module anywhere near the DD4, but for the price and ease of use, this is not a bad choice. I am mostly using it with roland, pintech, and yamaha pads. It worked fine with other manufacturer's products. All of the trigger inputs are single zone. The sounds are decent with a small variety of choices and tweak-ability. The pad sensitivity seems ok as well. Certainly nowhere near the options of the roland models but it works fine for a practice studio or for drummers who want to create an acoustic electric hybrid and are ok with a simple module.
