I bought this set about a month ago.The snare was toasted after about an hour of playing, but the toms are holding up pretty good. This is the easiest set I have ever set up or taken down. One of the reasons I bought this set is because of all the colors it comes in,which looks even better right in front of you.The cymbal stands and snare stand are great I havent had any problems with them yet.Overall this is a great set.
I got this kit for the purpose of having it in a practice space/jam room. The drums sound great once you buy some nicer heads and tune them properly. I'm no drummer, but I can play alright and this kit definitely sounds best for loud RAWK. They're just loud-sounding drums, at least to my ears (they'd be great for a punk band, especially with all the cool colors and the great price. The hardware seems top-notch and the finish is very nice. The only complaint I have is the kickdrum pedal: one of the pads came off. But it was nothing a little superglue couldn't fix. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase.
I bought this kit for a friend and it works very nice for someone who is more than a beginner. I have been playing for 12 years and i liked this kit. the heads are self dampning, but you should stll muffle the bass drum. the toms sound really good and the boom stand is cool too. the only bad thing about it is that it doesnt hold a candle to the 8 piece Taye i bought a few days prior.
This set plasy really nicely. I'm an entry level drummer and I can honestly say I love it. The heads are kinda low quality but that's fine. I recommend this set to any entry-intermediate drummer. The snare on this set is incredible. All the drums have good projection.
I pulled these drums out of the box, started putting the first head on the bass drum and a lug popped off. It didn't break, but it stripped the bolt that attaches it to the drum. Then, 4 or 5 of the lugs around the rest of the drum fell apart. Unbelievable. I've been playing for 25 years and I've never seen anything like this. I sent it back that day. Don't buy it. Good luck if you do.
Purchased for Church because of the price mainly. Set up was easy. Tough to get tuned but I suppose new heads will help. Dead ringers don't fit right on toms causing them to rattle. Shortly after purchase one tom mount stripped out. I emailed the company and they replaced it no questions asked. The rest of the hardware good. Also had pad fall off kick pedal. Epoxy fixed it. With a bit of work hopefully kit will sound fine.
I purchased the Blue Ice drums for my son and I am very impressed! I've been playing drums all my life and the ddrum Diablo are the best I have ever seen for the money. Just spend some time tuning and you will be happy.
I bought ddrum diablo set about 2 months ago and i can truly say this is top notch set i replaced the heads with evans and that was the trick to it all. The foot pedal is not all that great but overall this is a winner for the price.
this is a pretty nice set up. it is very nice for the price. the bass drum is very big and loud it shakes the floors of my house
