9000 Pedals offer drummers an unequaled combination of speed, feel and power.
Drummers asked for a longer footboard and DW listened. The 9000 XF is here with an Extended Footboard that is an inch longer than the standard version of the pedal. Other than the longer footboard, it is identical to the standard-length version with all the great new updated features.
Since their inception, 9000 Series pedals with Floating Rotor and Infinitely Adjustable Cam technology have given players the flexibility and versatility to take their footwork to the next level. Even so, DW thought it was time to make some improvements. Introducing the upgraded 9000 and 9002. Both the 9000 and 9002 pedals now feature the Tri-Pivot Toe Clamp System and Non-Slip Rubber Grip Base Plate for increased stability and a stronger connection between the drummer and kick drum.
In addition, DW added an EZ Adjust Cam to allow drummers to switch from Accelerator® to Turbo®-style sprockets, or anywhere in between, in no time. The same unmistakable feel, playability and artist-approved features, only better.

Comments about DW 9000 Series Single Bass Drum Pedal with eXtended Footboard:
I play professionally in a Christian Jazz Trio and with church worship bands. I have used DW5000 pedals for over 30 years. However, I have a size 13 foot and I play heel down style. I was looking for an extended length pedal and when DW came out with the PDP Concept pedal (see my review on this website) I purchased one to see if I really liked the long footbed style. I ended up using it instead of my DW5000 as it complemented both the style of music and my heel down playing. However, after a while I missed the smoothness and speed of the DW5000 and decided to go ahead and take the plunge with the DW9000 XF model. All I can say is these are truly worth the money. The first thing you notice is the incredible smoothness my DW5000 feels almost clunky in comparison. This smoothness then contributes to controllability allowing your playing technique to really come out. Subtle grace notes, doublets and triplets are shockingly easy and the speed you can generate is almost frightening. If you are looking for a long footbed pedal that is amazingly controllable and will allow your footwork to really blossom, I highly recommend the DW900 XF.
