Features:

It gives you false confidence that it is durable. I like it's looks.

Quality:

While the overall stand is durable, the metal they used for threading is not.

There are at least two other users on here who had my exact problem as me. The bolt-hole at the base of the basket, which you use to adjust the pitch of the snare, is smooth. The threads have been stripped out after breaking-down and setting-up this stand for 120 shows, approximately. I specifically bought this stand so this wouldn't happen, and ironically, this stand had the shortest life of all stands I've used.

Excfellent Stand and can angle the drum in any way..but the platic adjuster gets stripped and the adjuster handle falls off. i've fixed it many times with the same broken results.. now using a pair of pliers to loosen it.. will hope they upgrade this item or will be forced to buy another brand. very disappointing esp comin from DW.. was really suprised..

I own two 9300's and have been using the 9300 since my first DW kit purchase in 2001. It has withstood the rigors of many gigs over the years without a single issue. It's sturdy, and infinitely adjustable so I can fine tune the drum position exactly where I need it, no other snare stand can do that. Other drummers I tech for love the 9300 for all the same reasons. If you need to accommodate a smaller snare opt for the 9303 which is specifically designed for auxiliary snares and smaller drums. If you have issues with a DW product like another reviewer here, contact their customer service, they are great folks and will bend over backwards to assist you with their products.

Had this for about 1 year. Always trusted DW use their pedals, stands, etc. This stand still looks new has never been abused, rarely adjusted and when I went to adjust the basket the pot metal threads stripped out of the adjuster. Rest of the stand is like new and it is now useless. Had to duct tape it for a gig. Never thought I'd need another snare stand after buying this. Had cheap stands last longer. Very disappointed and going back to Tama or Gibraltar.
