Evans

Hear your drum's true pitch, control overtones, and tune easily.

Evans E-Rings are an easy way to control overtones from your drumhead. Overlay them on top of the drum and they flatten and round out the drum's sound making it easier to tune. Save time in the studio and get killer snare sound. A great value too, because they're reusable.

Features

  • The fusion pack consists of 10", 12", and two 14" rings
  • The standard pack consists of 12", 13", 14", and 16" rings

Pure tone and value. Put 'em in the cart and let your true sound come through.

Evans E-rings

Features:

I had been using moon jells and was not happy with the residue they leave and how dirty they get. Also  needed many to get desired effect. I thought I'd try the e rings from Evans. I was very impressed with how much control I got with these. The heads still ring because they float over the head when the tom is struck and so the head rings off more than you would think before they decay. I really like them alot! The only thing is they are either on or off. So if you are a real control junkie gels might be better for you. As for me I'm a E ring fan now. I love the way my toms sound now as opposed to the gels. As we all know sound/tone is a very subjective thing and a drummer signature. So try both out. Neither are very expensive. Hope this helps.

Quality:

They are clear and look great on your drums.

Value:

I get what I'm looking for with these. Again sound/tone is very subjective so try em. Thery won't break the bank.

Overall:

Like I said earlier personally love these. They give me control at home when either playing or recording. They can also help tremedously in the live setting depending on the quality of the venue.

AMAZING PRODUCT

These were such a cheap investment but make your drumset sound like it's worth so much more. I highly recomend the product.

Overall:

Without these rings, my drums resonate and sound kind of bad, even though they are really good drums. The second I put these rings on, the tone stands out but doesn't resonate as much. These are amazing and work great. My snare and toms sound like Jesus because of these. BUY THEM OR I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN!

I bought the Evans E-Rings Pack about a year ago, and they've been great!  They improve the sound of my toms dramatically!  Before the E-Rings my toms had way too much sustain.  There was no definition.  Now, I get the sound I've always wanted, without spending too much money, or having to improvise with something that looks unprofessional like tape or pillows.

These rings do take out all the overtones, but they also deaden the sound. They're so thick, that the batter head doesn't make any sound. I've tried out remOs and they are thinner, so that the head isn't dead, but it cuts out the overtones.
