The EMAD bass drumhead offers a versatile and highly-adjustable sound, rich tones and good durability.

With a deep and punchy low-end, the EMAD batter drumhead pack contains a single 10mil 1-ply head and an adjustable damping system. The external-mounted damping system enables a drummer to adjust the focus of their sound without reaching inside the drum. With a sensitive Resonant front head included to help you further hone your sound, we'll round things out by throwing in an INKED by Evans giftcard to apply a personalized graphic to the front drumhead.

Comments about EMAD Bass Drumhead Pack 22" with INKED by Evans Gift Card:

This package came with the Emad batter head, then you can order your custom reso from the Evans website. Evans customer service is fantastic. My custom reso head came 3 weeks earlier than I expected and it looks great. These heads made my Pearl bass sound so much better. Now more about the sound...I have a 2 bass drum set up. My other bass has a Remo Powerstroke 3 and I put on the Evans Emad on my second bass to compare the sound. The Evans had a bit of an overtone while the Remo gave a solid thump. However, I should add that the bass with the Remo Powerstroke had a reso head with a sound hole, while the bass drum with the Evans Emad still had the Pearl stock reso on it (no sound hole). After I put on my Evans Emad reso with sound hole, the sound got so much better and the overtone was reduced. In conclusion, while I like the Evans Emad, I do like the sound of Remo Powerstroke 3 a little better.
