            Comments about Evans G14 Clear Drumhead:

            Ive been running clear G2s for about 4 years. They always sound good to me but I wanted to give these new G14s a try. I tend to like the ringy, hollow tone especially on smaller toms like 8s and 10s. When I put the G14s on they sounded good but a bit more muffled. Almost like Remo Pinstripes. More suitable to the studio than live performances, IMO. I will be switching back to the G2s. I would say these are great heads for someone...just not the best for me.

            Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
