Flex Tip Isolation Floor Tom Feet

FlexTips offer an effective resonance solution for floor toms with legs already mounted to the shell. Simply remove the rubber ends currently on your floor tom legs and secure FlexTips with the provided allen wrench, making sure the leg is centered in the FlexTip collar.

The leg of the floor tom inserts part of the way down into the low harmonic frequency spring. This separates the leg from the floor, keeping resonance from transferring into the floor. By moving your leg various distances from the floor within the spring, you can often customize the amount of resonance, or decay, in your drum. Closer to the floor for quicker decay, farther from the floor for longer sustain.

Sold in two sizes: standard floor tom leg diameters 3/8" (9.52mm) to 7/16" (11.10mm), or 1/2" diameter legs (fits DW legs).
