Bit of a let down

Overall I'm disappointed, but I can make due. I have other Gibralter equipment and haven't come across any problems. This was a mistake.
The 5600 series double braced snare stand is sturdy, clamps tight, and the tilt adjustment is fine.
My complaint is with the arms. One is slightly twisted which causes it to clamp awkwardly and the basket tilts to the left. I noticed this when I angled my snare slightly down and towards me. Not only did I have the tilt I desired, but I had a perceptible tilt to the left as well!
You get what you pay for! I'll be able to use the stand, but I'm going to have to put it in a vice and twist one of the arms. Not sure what I'll do with the basket tilt.

I bought this to work as a stand for Native Instruments Maschine. At first I was worried if Maschine would fit in a stand designed for a snare drum, but it is actually very sturdy and holds perfectly. It is so much better than using a desk because it is at an ergonomic level for drumming on pads.

I gigged with it within days of getting it. It's lighter than my previous stand, (Pearl) and the geometry makes it less likely to tip.

Seems to be very sturdy and well-made. The true test of any gear is how it holds up over numerous set-ups, gigs and teardowns, so the jury is still out. So far, I'm satisfied with it.

Very pleased with my recent purchase of this stand - replaced the original low-end PDP stand I got with my set. It is sturdy, well made and does what I need it to do, all for less than $50!

this stand is great.its kinda hard to get to fit your snare at first,but once you get is to the stand is awesome.ive had it for a week now and its still very sturdy.overall if your looking for a cheap stand i highly rcomend this one.
