Gibraltar 6600 Series Motorcycle-Style Drum Throne  

When i got this throne for Christmas last year, i thought it was great. And it was for about 3 months until the lock which locks in the height stopped working. The lock is like a screw and it wore down so much that it wont lock at all and the seat jst slides down

I bought this throne to use at the church. It only gets used a couple of time a week. It's a cheap motorcycle style throne, but it's just that cheap.  I stood on it (i know it's made for sitting) to reach a sound panel up above the drums and the wood on the bottom of the seat snapped.  I'm not that big of a guy (under 190 lbs)  It was great for sitting but wood underneath is VERY thin! I guess they had to skimp somewhere.

I cannot tell you how much I LOVE this drum stool! It happens to be my absolute favorite of the drum stools I have used over the years. I recently ended up in a financial position and sold a lot of equipment I didn't want to sell. Recently, trying not to spend a lot to finally get some new equipment I've been without. Let me tell you, this is the absolute best buy for the quality and price. Seriously, I have always had problems with numb legs from drum stools previously and also problems with the seat slowly falling down into a lower position. This thing is excellent to keep circulation in legs and STAYS in it's chosen spot without moving downward. It's EXCELLENT! A must have if you are looking for quality and not wanting to spend a lot!

It's is a very comfortable and easily affordable throne that won't let you down.
