If you are even thinking about buying these, do it. I had those crappy SP pedals before i upgraded. When i got these i emediatly went to my band practice and started playing them. I have never been able to get to those kinds of speeds with the other pedals. I was originally going to buy the Direct drive Gibraltar pedals but i decided to just hope for the best with these. I AM GLAD I CHOSE THESE! These things are extremely durable and are built to last. every silngle part on these pedals are made of metal. Point is, i strongly reccomend these!

I got this in place of my old PDP402 pedal (DONT buy that one please). The main pedal is fantastic, the biggest problems are in the slave pedal. Extremely sloppy and noticeably hard to adjust. It might be the cross arm but Im not sure. Even with constant oiling it still squeaks. The beaters are good. The plastic side gives a nice slap. Only problem is the beater arms are too small for the hole so the come loose all the time unless you tighten it with some industrial screwdriver attached to some kind of vehicle. The amount of adjusting is good. Nothing special. Oh and DONT play this pedal barefoot. Actually you can itll just hurt the first few days. I have a callus the size of california on the inside of my big toe. All in all a solid pedal, the biggest problem is the sloppyness of the slave.

I have had these Pedals for a year now and they are solid! I love them! They are very smooth, and this drummer I know said he would prefer these over his $500 Iron Cobras. I would recommend these to any drummer!

I've been using these pedals for a few months now and i love them. They're well constructed and, with a little finessing, can kick just as smooth as higher end pedals. I personally play really hard and often and have had no issues with durability. If your comparing these to the basic 100 - 150 dollar pedals its definitely  worth the little extra. In comparison to the Cobra Jr's or the P902's it's more a matter of preference in which case i choose the Avengers. Hope this helped !
