this boom arm rocks, ive had it for over a year now and have used it in every gig ive played with my set. there has been once or twice that ive not tightened the clamp wing nut that clamps the arm to the 7/8 pipe part and the arm has fell while playin, but thats just a thing uve got to do urself, just make sure its tight before u play every time after settin up. but dont think its a desine flaw, its just a matter of makin sure its tight. its awsome, it is great, i have my 20" ride on it and the thing probly weighs like 10 lbs and the arm dont move an inch, i know alot of people who have it too and they love it too,all i have to say is gibraltar uve kicked butt again.

The cymbal boom topper is kept from rotating by a very small allen set screw which eventually works its way out or strips out. Ended up tack welding the topper on a few of these. On another arm the metal broke in half where the boom arm mounts to the upright tubing, this was after years of use though. I will be looking at other brands from now on.

This new style of cymbal boom is GREAT! the boom folds and slides inside the hollow 1 7/8" upright pipe when tearing down your kit. Great design. I plan to get more of these.
Works perfect with my Gibraltar rack and the 5 other cymbal booms I've used for 20+ years. I have rock 'n rolled the hell out of this hardware and never have any of these failed me. Cymbal stacker hardware also works excellent. I highly recommend them for more cymbals in less space.

Highly recommended for anyone looking to expand the limits of their kit.
This certainly can withstand any cymbal you wish to attatch to it. I've put everything from a 6" splash to a 20" sabian heavy ride cymbal, and it held up with both.
Worth the money. Lots of bang for your buck.

like all the rest of these people. i agree. this arm is great. ive had a 20 inch ride cymbal on it, and attached to my rack and it holds up fine. along with all the other cymbals. a fine product in deed. definitely worth the money i spent on them, considering i bought about 6. lol

This boom arm is fantastic. It's built like a tank and the price can't be beat. There's no reason to shop around. I'm keeping this one in my wishlist so that when the time comes to expand my kit, I can pick up a few more. Highly recommended.

Amazing. Just... oh my gosh. I have used this every gig I've ever had and I've had my boom arms for about 2 years now. haven't had to buy anymore. I bought 11 of them. and I haven't had to replace them at all.

I got this product for a much cheaper price right before they raised the price. I have had a little trouble fitting it in the pipe and thought it would spin around because of that, but it doesn't so just a little brain power could fix that. It is a nice buy I say.
