Get double the chiks!
This pack includes the Gibraltar Hi-Hat Off-Time Attachment (SC-HHOT) and the Chik Effects Pack pair (SC-CKPK).
Gibraltar's HHOT Hi-Hat Off-Time attachment mounts to your existing hi-hat stand, adding an additional layer of rhythm to your sound. This attachment adds a second set of hi-hats to any brand of hi-hat stand, giving you a "chik sound" on the off-beat when keeping time with your hi-hat foot. This really fills your sound out for all styles and grooves.
Gibraltar's Chik Effects Pack (CKPK) creates a different "chik sound" when used with the Hi-Hat Off-Time Attachment, making this unit a complete solution.
Each HHOT ships with an instructional DVD produced by HHOT inventor Stephen Marnell.
Put the double-chik experience to work for you. Order today.

Comments about Gibraltar Hi-Hat Off-Time Attachment with Chik Effects Pack:
I watched the video on the Gibralter Off-time Hi-hat Attachment and was intrigued by the great off-beat sound that was produced. It comes with set-up instructions and an audio disc with some examples of the technique and style you can supposedly achieve with this product. The set up was not straight forward, and it required dismantling of your current hi-hat stand base, and very careful adjustment of the bars supporting cymbal apparatus. I am a little mechanically challenged, but found this particularly cumbersome to set up and adjust..even with instructions. The "chik" effect is very subtle, and was often hard to discern through a loud snare, is easily hidden in the wash of a recently hit crash cymbal, and inaudible when playing a heavy ride. I played it for my sons, and they said they couldn't hear the "chik" effect unless they were standing very close. The video makes appear as though it cuts through all the extraneous sound. This was not my experience. I had it on my hi-hat for a couple of months, and then took it off never to use it again.
