Very nice to have felts tall enough that they come in contact with the wing nut when tightend down. I like my cymbals loose, but not flopping uncontrollably. These allow one to adjust to a point were the cymbals rocks back and forth with the stick attack, but doesn't wildly flail about. These strike me as being the perfect density not to hard or soft. A simple fix for an annoying problem, just wish it hadn't taken me 47 years of playing to figure it out.

Great for chinas and larger cymbals. However there's another use for these. Slide them over the blunt end of your sticks and you'll have some great sounding combination sticks/felt mallets. Mine have lasted a few months with no sign of giving up. If you haven't tried mallets, this is about the cheapest way I know of to do so, and the results stand up to a lot of expensive pro designs. Recommended.

If you have a Wuhan china cymbal, you'll need to order there, unless you want metal to metal contact on your cymbal when you hit it. These are great! Word of advise if you have a Wuhan... Try to get the Tama nut screw that comes on the top of their cymbal stands that holds the cymbal. A butterfly nut will still hit your Wuhan china cymbal.

As the other review says, there is not much to say about these. They work perfect if you need larger felts to reach inside bigger bells for chinas and the like. They are a little bit pricey ($1.00 a piece!) but they do get the job done.
