Comments about Gibraltar Low Conga Stand:

This low profile stand works great allowing you to sit and play. It is sturdy and durable. Also you can fine tune the adjustment of height. Works great for me.

Such a hassle to use I don't use it

      By Lily Phoenix

      from Undisclosed

Comments about Gibraltar Low Conga Stand:

I own this but never use it and wish I hadn't bought it. It is such a hassle to set up and adjust for different drums. You need two people, one to hold the drum up off the floor and the other to adjust and adjust and adjust again, and even then it doesn't stay stable. Contrary to others' statements, it takes up a great deal of floor space, you can't get another drum anywhere near you. It's big and sturdy, that's the best I can say about it.

Comments about Gibraltar Low Conga Stand:

Buy This stand and forever be at ease. It can be adjusted to hold any conga size firmly and with care. Thick rubber coater holders and legs, strong iron frame.
Built strong yet light weight, will hold all conga makes and models firmly.
Quality can't be beat for the price.
Extraordinary value for the quality and versatility.

      Best seated stand available

Comments about Gibraltar Low Conga Stand:

These are the best stands for seated conga players. They take up the least floor space between stands allowing for close positioning of your drums. These stands raise the drum from the floor so the bass of the conga can be used. Not so when conga is resting on the floor. I own four of these. Brings out all of the volume and tone of your drums.

Gibraltar Stands Gets The Bass Out!

      By Tommy Preston

      from Cleveland Ga

Comments about Gibraltar Low Conga Stand:

These stands are the stuff!!They are fully adjustable, built like a tank, and are a snap to set up and tear down! Now heres the good part. They get the bass tones out of your congas, literally!Even the quinto! It allows the air to leave the bottom of your drum. As opposed to to having your drum sitting directly on the floor. The company that makes my drums offers "feet" to use but they aren't stable, and you can't move and arrange your drums without them coming off.I like the drum about one to two inches off the floor, the easy to use wing nuts allow for quick and easy adjustment. If you try these once you will use nothing else if you play in the traditional seated position. These should fit anything!

      By jlc_drummer

      from Cedar Rapids, IA

Comments about Gibraltar Low Conga Stand:

I own a pair of King congas circa 1970, purchased with basket(tall)stands which was fine 30 years ago when I was doing percussion -vocals. I now play keyboards/percussion with a need to play congas seated. The best I could come up with until now were the LP rubber feet, but I needed to pad them due to bottom shell circumference (quinto 9 1/2")which usually meant slippage during aggressive parts. These stands are totally adjustable and would even accept a shell a little narrower than the Kings. Once seated on the Gibralter stand the drum is rock solid and I can take floor clearance down to almost ground level if I wanted to. Well worth the money.
