Comments about Gibraltar Moveable-Leg Hi-Hat Stand with Direct Pull:

I bought this hi-hat stand after my stock hi-hat stand's pedal broke after 5 years of use. I got this stand because it's made by Gibraltar and it has movable legs so it can be used along with a double pedal.

This stand was extremely easy to set up. The instructions were very clear and it doesn't move an inch when it's being played. It also comes with a memory lock so the height can be "saved".

The only negative thing I have to say about this (and it's not even that bad) is that it's a little heavy, but I'll probably get used to it after a while.

Oh, it also comes with some stickers and even a magnet...seriously, that's pretty cool.

Comments about Gibraltar Moveable-Leg Hi-Hat Stand with Direct Pull:

This Hi Hat stand is absolutely solid. The adjustments are excellent and holds regardless of positions. Never underestimate Gibraltar products. They may be a little pricey but well worth the money. I can't say enough about the quality and would buy this product again and again. You won't be sorry on this choice. The features out weigh the price!

Comments about Gibraltar Moveable-Leg Hi-Hat Stand with Direct Pull:

If you play with a double bass pedal, you have to get this hi-hat stand. The ability to rotate the stand out of the way of the second bass pedal is essential. It makes it so much easier to set the stand close to the snare and have the hi-hat and second bass pedals right next to each other and away from the hi hat leg. Plus, the stand is sturdy and the pedal action is smooth. A great buy, well worth the extra money!

Best Hi Hat stand I've owned!

Comments about Gibraltar Moveable-Leg Hi-Hat Stand with Direct Pull:

I searched for a movable 3 leg hi hat stand at stores and online.Nothing looked good to me.Too skinny or too much $ Then I saw this beauty! The price was right! I've used it at some gigs and was NOT disappointed! Solid enough that I clamp my DST tambourine on it with no problems. It doesn't move or wobble, unlike 2 leg stands.Tension settings are fast and easy, as is adjusting the legs away from the slave kick pedal.Memory lock is massive and stays where you want it.It takes a minute to attach the foot plate to the base, but that's what makes it so solid. Direct drive pull gives a great feel, it's a joy to play. You'll have to spend a LOT more for anything like it from other brands. I highly recommend it!

                Awesome High Hat Stand

Comments about Gibraltar Moveable-Leg Hi-Hat Stand with Direct Pull:

I am already a big fan of Gibraltar hardware but, this stand blew my mind right out of the box! It's definitely the best h.h. stand I've ever owned! Smooth, solid, quiet, heavy-duty! The over- sized rubber feet grab so well I don't even need to use the spurs! Unlike my last stand, the reaction time is instantainious! And the "feel" of the pedal is just awesome! If I had to find something to complain about, it's that it's a little heavy. But I can deal with that!

                Heavy-duty, solid, responsive, affordable!

Comments about Gibraltar Moveable-Leg Hi-Hat Stand with Direct Pull:

I'll premise this review by simply stating that this is the first pro-level hi-hat stand that I've ever purchased. It often seems that hi-hat stands tend to get forgotten about by many drummers, myself included. However, once my old Tama stock hi-hat stand finally wore out (after darn near 20 years I might add,) I almost purchased another Tama Roadpro without question. The Tama stand is nice, don't get me wrong, but for just a little more money this Gibraltar stand is AMAZING! It is so much quieter than my old stand, and this thing is simply SOLID. I wouldn't hesitate to toss this thing off the stage every night. The response is great, and the adjustable tension is a nice feature. The only real complaint that I have is that you can't set the hi-hat stand really low since the top tube would interfere with the step-adjustment feature. However, to be fair, MOST hi-hat stands these days do NOT allow low hi-hat placement. This is something that is frustrating to me since the lowest you can set the hi-hat level is at about 25" or so. I usually like mine set at about 20" high, just a couple inches above my snare. Other than that, this is a lot of quality for the money!
