I have a couple of these laying around. They don't stick to the hoop well so you will lose it more than likely. better ways of protecting your bass hoops I'm sure.

It's always best to protect your investment and protecting the rims on your bass drum is very important. This item provides a decent amount of protection from the pedal clam onto the rim. But, it could be bit thicker for more dense with the rubber. During first use some of the teeth on my pedal clamp went through the rubber. It only left minor scratches on my rim, but I wish it hadn't let any. Recommend, but believe it could be better.

This 2-pack came in handy...I used one on the bottom of my kick drum where my pedal connects and used the other on the top where I mount a cowbell. I wish I had thought to buy these earlier and wouldn't already have so many "chew" marks on my hoop. Definitely a smart buy if you don't want to mark your hoops up from pedal/mount clamps.

This product is complete junk. There is a sticky film on the rubber that is supposed to adhere to the rim... Which could be more damaging than the pedal. I was lucky however as the adhesive just fell off right out of the package so my rim was spared. Just glue a couple of pieces of felt to your pedal.

You've gotta save your hoops! I wish I had one of these beginning in 1967 'cause my Ludwig Club Date hoop would be mint instead of all the beaver chew marks from the Speed King pedal... Fit perfectly to any hoop and are working on my vintage kit and my new Yamaha kit.

Save your money, I already wasted mine. This does not work well with wood hoops. It may work for metal hoops or something. It is 2 pieces, and you can't use both. My pedal would not expand enough to get around the thickness of the rubber.
