I wish they would not have put a slotted bolt hole on the tightning clamp.I have it attached to a 1" stand tube and the bolt tends to slip out of the slotted end.2 closed end holes would have made this clamp GREAT

It's A o.k clamp.I got this for my floor tom because my floor tom was to low.It holds my floor tom good but moves to much.

i have one of these for my racktom, offers great flexibility of positioning and never slides down the stand, its not meant to be on a rack, its meant to be on a regular cymbal stand,

I bought this clamp to mount my 4 toms, to my Gibraltar GRS-850DBL drum rack. The clamp hardly had enough thread for me to tigthen it to my rack. Then, when I would put my toms onto the L-rod of the clamp,the clamps would slide, slamming the toms into my bass drums. It seemed that this "universal clamp" didn't fit my rack at all, it was way to small. Yes, its adjustable, but not enough. I could only place the clamps on certain parts of my rack, because on other places, it wouldn't clamp AT ALL. The threads started to strip because it was too small for my rack, and i had to tighten to crazy level. I don't know if this clamp just doesn't work with my rack, and works fine with others. But i would highly suggest getting someone who knows what they are talking about to tell you if it will fit.

I have used this on my Tama roadpro hihat and my friend's 805 snare and I love it. I would prefer Tama, but this has awesome quality and is rock solid. I recommend it.
