Like I said, just what I needed. I bought this to go on my Gibraltar Stealth Side Rack. It's perfect because of the memory lock on the boom arm. I don't have to pull the whole thing out of the rack. I just pull the arm out of the mount and pack the rack away. Love the stealth side rack!!! It has save sooooo much tripod leg space!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I started out with 4 of the Long Boom cymbal arms, and added a short boom a short time later. I now have 2 short booms (SBBT), and 6 long booms (LBBT). There is NONE better. These boom arms are completely, and easily adjustable to any mounting position. There are no teeth in the tilter making any position a snap. Memory locks on the boom arm, tilter and upright tube make set up and tear down instant. And durability that's unmatched. Weather you're considering stand mounted, or rack mounted, you just can't go wrong. And the price is unbeatable.

I have two of these on my drum rack. I often find that most boom arms, because of the teeth in the tilter don't allow me to get my cymbal exactly where I want it, so I've always bought the Mapex brand with the ball in socket....until now! These are great! The toothless tilter makes getting the cymbal right where I want it much easier! I love the fact that the dogbone has a memory lock on it too! Very heavy duty product, I highly recommend them!!

I just bought this so I can attach a splash to an existing stand....WOW!!! Good stuff! I would have bought this stuff a long time ago if I wasn't such a DW guy! All my other stands are DW 9000 series, and this fits right in for half the price!!! I would say its as close as you're gonna come to the 9000 series stuff....No jokes! Good band for the buck!

This boom proves that big things DO come in small packages! This powerhouse boom will hold any cymbal you put on it with strength to spare...perfect for small stages and tight spots where long booms won't fit. HUGE tilters and memorylock clamps just add to the value of this beauty, too bad you can't get these features on the long Gibralter booms. I use these booms exclusively on my rack and have never had a problem...and HIGHLY doubt if I ever will. Buy this!!
