Great device to add two cymbal booms or accessory arms without adding stands. Especially helpful for splash cymbals.
I bought two to mount on my bass drum tom holders and I instantly have place for 4 nicely positioned splashes over my toms.
The only drawback I see with this item is that there are no quick releases. In other words, you need to back the wing nuts entirely off the bolts before you can remove the clamp. This is a major problem if you want to assemble or dissassemble this piece for a show, but if it's staying clamped in one place, then it's a great accessory to have.

Just got this as a Christmas present and I have to say as soon as I took it out of the packaging i could tell it was made with that gibraltar quality I use it to mount my 2 shells for my double bass kit and it lets you get them where they need to be and it makes set up time a breeze...

I bought one of these from a local used music shop (its basically a pawn shop for drums haha). Anyway, mine is probably 20 to 30 years old and still works like a champion.

I found this in a last ditch effort to avoid shelling out a lot of money on a double tom stand. I used this to mount both 10" and 12" toms on my tom stand. Saved room, saved saved cash, the stand didn't qualify for the free shipping either, and was a "Heavy item" so it would have cost even more to ship. This little gadget rules, and looks good, except the bottom isn't closed, it's open, you can see its construction. I assume it's to save weight because this baby is HEAVY. Built tough.

This is the best multi-clamp I have ever used. It is so sturdy. It is great to mount toms, cymbal stand, etc. Great buy!
