Maple power, projection, and tone.

The Gretsch Catalina tom drum features a 6-ply maple shell with natural finished interiors for warm, balanced tones and clear UV gloss finishes for a stunning professional appearance. It is mounted on a GTS suspension system that's designed to allow every ounce of the maple's full tones to ring free and clear. The Gretsch drum's 2.5mm triple flange hoops provide full open tones and a wide, strong, and stable tuning range.
