Real feel and response unmatched by plastic or rubber.
The patented Bronze Metal Ecymbal II electronic hi-hat cymbals by Hart Dynamics feel and play exactly like acoustic cymbals because they are! The hi-hats feature Hart's patented design in which two cymbals are riveted together to eliminate resonance and acoustic volume. The electronic hi-hat pedal activates fully variable parameters ranging from open to closed, as well as foot chic and foot splash. The hi-hat cymbals come with gum rubber on 1/3 of the cymbal so you can play on the metal part of cymbal for exact acoustic feel or on gum rubber for extreme stealth.
These cymbals are virtually indistinguishable from brilliant-finish acoustic cymbals. All cymbals have incredible triggering characteristics. Heavy-duty trigger with high output and snap-lock 1/4" connectors to ensure cymbals stop playing when you do. Why play a pad when you can play the real thing?
Lifetime guarantee against breakage.

I bought the giga pro set with a roland td-12 module about a year and a half ago, and the hi hat barely worked to begin with. The hi hat wouldnt trigger half the time, and after messing around with the settings, it would either not trigger or trigger multiple times whenever it moved. Needless to say, I lost my patience with it. I don't know if mine was defective or what, but I was totally unsatisfied with the quality of the cymbals(I can't complain about the drums, they have worked flawlessly). I understand they have updated the cymbals since I bought the set and have no idea what the new ones are like. Overall, I was expecting more and am greatly dissapointed.
This is the best looking ecymbal hi-hat on the market. For a single cymbal ehit-hat is has the best responsiveness. I have had to send this hi-hat back to Hart (lifetime warranty) to have the trigger replaced after using it for a year on weekends. When used with a Roland variable hi-hat pedal, I am able to get a pretty realistic sound. Once again, this is not a "real" hi-hat and you have to get used to the idiosyncracies of ehit-hat pedals. Dual ehit-hats have a better feel. I would have rated this cymbal and 8 on quality and 7 on value had it not needed repair.
