    Excellent mesh head, I used it for a DIY snare on my DTXplorer.

    It looks like a mesh screen, with sligthly thicker white wires.

    I bought by mistake a Magnum head that was too soft for a snare and updraged with this one.

    This one has a crisper feeling, and as mentionned in the decription, can handle very high tensions.

    I've been punching on it for weeks now and it doesn't show any sign of wearing yet.

    I'm sure it should last a while.

    It makes a bit of noise, but not more than a rubber pad, and maybe a bit less.

    Great mesh head!

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    I have been using the 20" on my bass drum V-kit and the head has really worn well with minimal stretching. I use a beater patch on the head and plastic beater heads on my double pedal.
    great overall quality. Held up very well to heavy use.
    exactly as advertised. Great quality and built to last
    certainly worth the price
