Not sure what the last reviewer was talking about but I found these extremely easy to assemble and they did exactly what I wanted them to do which was make it possible for me to practice on my drum set without disturbing the whole house. Seriously if you had all that trouble with the BD mount than you did something silly or possibly had a defected one because mine attached easily, did not scratch my Saturns and felt as real as a foam/rubber pad could. Buy these you will love em.

On my first day the bd muffler got broke. the pad doesn't stand the bd pedal striking. On the toms and snare is another story, the pad jumps from the drum at all times. the ride mute was extremely hard to fit on a 22" even tough they claim it fits. And...the 95% volume reducing is pure talking.
