This fits my 16 inch rare earth remo djembe well. It is kind of hard to put the djembe in, but I followed the advice of a previous reviewer to place the drum upside down, and place the bag over the djembe. (This does cause a risk of scratching the drum head if placed over a non-smooth floor).
This seems sturdy. Percussion is a tertiary instrument, so I do not play very much, and I can't attest to it's durability "on the road." It does seem well padded.
There aren't too many options for bags large enough to protect a djembe as large as I have, so I do not know how these stack up to others.

I bought this bag for my 14 inch Remo drum, and it fits wonderfully. The elastic at the bottom of the case which fits tightly around the neck of the drum is a little annoying to put on the drum (you have to flip the drum, head down, to put it on without too much effort), but it ensures that the drum doesn't wiggle around in the bag. Also, the back pack straps and one stabilizing handle are of mediocre quality as are the zippers at the top of the bag, but overall, this product was priced well and has held up for biweekly transport over the last six months with no problems.
