Overview
A commemorative series of hickory congas and bongos from LP.
To honor their 50th anniversary, LP has produced a limited run of congas and bongos. Produced with dense-toned North American hickory, these drums produce rich, warm tones with resonant lows and mids. For added strength, a ply of fiberglass is built into the center of the 3-ply shell. When tuned high, hickory drums produce loud, crisp, and cutting slaps.
Additionally, the drums are fitted with an extended collar Comfort Curve II Rims, natural rawhide heads and Premium Galaxy hardware with a satin finish. Also features a commemorative Gold-tone 50th Anniversary badge and reinforced LP heart side plates with rubber gaskets
and 3/8" diameter tuning lugs.
