Comments about LP Americana Groove Cajon:

I sailed through four local retailers looking at and testing Cajons, and fell in love with this one the second I tried it. I was in the next to last store when the sales associate told me to go to another location to at least try this one. I tried more expensive as well as cheaper

Comments about LP Americana Groove Cajon:

For years when I would visit a music store I'd tryout cajons, but none of them sounded musical to me. I kept wondering why they were so popular and how folks were able to use them so effectively. UNTIL I played the LP Americana Groove cajon! I can actually use this! I've used it for jazz, funk, pop, polka, and at church. The bass tone is excellent. The snare sound is good, not great. I use shakers, tambourines, and anything else I can kick, hit or shake with it. It is well made. I've owned mine for two years and like all my other LP gear I expect it to last and last!

Comments about LP Americana Groove Cajon:

For the price, you get a well-made entry level cajon that has a good bass tone for its size. It works well for accompanying acoustic musicians in small venues and in drum circle and classroom situations. For those looking to replace a drum set with this, the snare sound leaves something to be desired. It does the job, but doesn't really sound like a snare drum. Overall, this cajon is an affordable, quality option for beginners and offers good enough sound for intermediate players in low-key presentations.

Comments about LP Americana Groove Cajon:

This is a great, all around useful cajon. You get what you pay for so to speak. I used an Audix D6 with it for a Super Bowl gig and it worked out great. A few accessories like an LP Foot Tamborine, cajon bag and a One Shot Finger Shaker wouldn't be a bad idea either!
