Made entirely in the USA, LP's Americana Series Cajons are constructed using hand-selected, 11-ply, plantation grown Baltic Birch, which is highly durable and incredibly resonant. Each cajon is carefully made by hand using a uniquely engineered design that optimizes the instruments acoustic performance and delivers rich, deep bass tones.
The Americana Peruvian Cajon combines a hand-selected, exotic okoume wood front plate that produces a wide spectrum of traditional cajon sounds, from the highest-pitched slaps to thunderous, deep bass tones. Whether you're choosing a cajon to perform traditional world music or you're a drum set player looking for rhythmic solution for your "unplugged" gigs, the Americana Series Cajons from LP are amongst the most well-made, best sounding cajons in the world.

Comments about LP Americana Peruvian Cajon:
My second cajon (first was LP Americana Groove), owned about three months at this time. Gotta say that my band and myself have fallen in love with this thing. Easy to mic up and sounds great when used so. Lows thump and are nice round and full, highs really snap and cut through the mix. This cajon has the deepest and fullest low end of any I have played and I play every one I can get my hands on. I especially enjoy the lack of noise makers, snares, string, or jingles. It leave a instrument with a decidedly woody voice (especially on the high end) that I really enjoy. Sounds as nice acoustically as it does miced up, can fill a room. I recommend without reservation.
