        Comments about LP592 Small Claw:

I use it with meinl cymbal holder. Make sure to tighten up the LP claw with a pair of pliers. Once it is set up leave it alone. When it's time to pack up your drums leave the claw untouched in the same position. With the cymbal holder still in place.

        Deceptive Ad for LP Claw

              Comments about LP592 Small Claw:

The claw did not come w/ the mic holder as shown in picture. Sales person argued with me that it stated that in the description. It does not state that anywhere in the Musician Friends on line ad. They wanted to charge me a return shipping and restocking fee after spending hundreds maybe thousands there over the years.

Smaller claw, but a deceiving description. Not worth the price.

              Comments about LP592 Small Claw:

Should be labeled more clearly. Z-bar should either be included at this price or price reduced.
This claw works just like the original, but read the description carefully. It DOES NOT come with the Z-bars for a microphone or hardware. At this price point it's not worth saving $5 since you can't use it without purchasing additional pieces.

A must have in every Sound Person's bag of tricks

              By Warren Williams

              Comments about LP592 Small Claw:

The claw is not just handy for mic-ing drum kits; it has a million uses. Whether you need to improvise a quick mic stand for video by attaching to the leg of a tripod or a fast connection to a podium, the claw has all the flexibility and adjustability to make it happen without wasting your time deciding what to do. I've even clamped them to the edge of a window in a press box to capture crowd noise while video taping a football game.
Solid steel construction gives the claw a firm grip on whatever you clamp it to. The rubber coated jaws hold up pretty well under years of use and help provide non-slip clamping action.
You get what you pay for and this is a valuable tool of the trade for a reasonable price.
