    Latin Percussion LPA601 Aspire Oak Bongos with Chrome Hardware have smaller 6-3/4" and 8" natural rawhide heads stretched on shells made from kiln-dried, environmentally friendly Siam oak for a rich, mellow sound. Latin Percussion put Cuban-style steel bottoms and 9/32" tuning lugs on the LPA601 bongos.

    First pair of bongos

    I absolutely love these bongos! They sound great and are really fun to play! I play them all the time! I recomend these for anyone looking to get a little percussion under their belt!

    These are adequate entry-level bongos for kids. They are a bit smaller than regular bongos, so shorter players can more easily hold them between their legs. A bit bland in tone, these would not be useful for serious musicians.

    You can beat the quality of these of these very reasonably priced bongos. I know they are intended for beginners, but I'm a seasoned drummer and I think any working pro would appreciate them.
