I bought these bongos as a set with 3 matching congas. They look great and sound awesome. I get a lot of compliments when I play them in public. Would recommend them to anyone who doesn't want to break the bank and doesn't want to compromise sound, look and comfort.

The bongos arrived promplty in perfect shape and they sound great. Easy to hold, easy to tune, and easy to make them sound great with just a touch.
I play percussion, mainly west african in the past, and now I'm branching out musically and I am completely satisfied with these bongos. What a great sound and for me so far have been great and not too difficult to hold with the legs and play without a stand. I have heard some folks say that this model is a bit combersome for holding, however, I would not agree, especially regarding the sound they produce, and I don't even have training in bongo technique. Enjoy and play on!

D*mn nice bongos. Cheap, sound great, good heads, easy to tune. Gloss finish is nice except it is possible to scratch it off, but you shouldnt be worrying how they look if you just want to play.Spend the extra few bucks over the aspires and get these.

I went over to a friend's house and I played these, I wasn't exactly blown away. They're a bit dull sounding, and it takes a while to tune them to the point where you get a bit more. I did enjoy playing them, though, but still think the price tag is a bit high for what yah get.

I purchased these from this site a few months back. I believe they are exclusive to this site. They sound amazing. These make it possible to shell out less than a hundred bucks for a two hundred sound. Very well made and heavy, and they have high quality skins on them. I've listened to some of the older LPs and these have just as good or better sound to them. When you slap them they ring just like professional models. I suggest tuning them when you receive them, tighten about one half to 3/4ths of a turn on each lug. Look great too! Mine are the dark model and everyone loves the appearance. 10 stars!!!
