      OVERVIEW

Mounts a splash on any stand.

The LP Splash-Claw gives you the ability to mount cymbals up to 16" in diameter on any rimmed drum.

From its looks the LP Splash-Claw is a scaled down version of the famous LP Claw. The jet-black body measures 4" and will hold tight to standard drum counterhoops, and LP Comfort Curve drum rims.

At the same time, the Splash-Claw opens wide enough to grip any bass drum's wood or metal hoop. All types of cymbals can be placed with ease around drum sets, percussion setups, and marching drums. The included LP Z-shaped cymbal arm is accompanied by thick cymbal felts and a heavy-duty wing nut to protect and secure your cymbals.

      The perfect no-stand mount

      By Jeremy Thompson

      from Smithfield NC

      Comments about LP Splash-Claw:

In the 9 years I have had this thing I haven't had any problems with it, I've mounted chinas and splashes to rack toms, even a 20 inch heavy bell ride to a 14x14 floor tom! I love this product and it just works. If you don't want more stands on your floor, by all means. Get this cymbal claw. You won't regret it.
You can tilt this thing anyway you like, just make sure you have enough room on the tom/snare rim
It's an LP brand, but it is made by Gibraltar, so there are no complaints here about quality.
This is perfect if you can't afford a stand and need a small cymbal or even a large medium weight cymbal to mount on any tom or snare.

      Meh

      By Anonymous

      Comments about LP Splash-Claw:

It is a very good idea but the product Is a pretty big piece of crap. It positions and sets up my splash cymbol very nicely but if I play it for 2 long the main bar will start to move and eventually the clamp loosens and falls off, so every time I play I have to make sure that it is securely tightened and even then it still makes me nervous.

      Great for lighter cymbals

      By McShank

      from Woodstock, Georgia

      Comments about LP Splash-Claw:

I really like this claw, it's a cost effective way of mounting cymbals. Position possibilities are as plentiful as your shells. It doesn't go as low as I'd like, and anything heavier than a medium 14" cymbal will require some serious torque on the claw in order to keep it from dropping down or rotating.

      Pretty Good

      By Rush2112-ItoxQ

      from Indiana

      Comments about LP Splash-Claw:

Good! More expensive than the cymbal i put on it (Paiste PST 3 10" Splash, which i highly recommend) Only goes up and down. No problems yet, I actually put it on the mounted tom stand, and it holds up perfectly. Centered right between my 12" and 14" toms and below my crash and china, its like a W. Crash on top left, 12" on bottom left, splash center, 14" bottom right, china top right. Nice

Good Idea, but It Could Be Better

      By Coldfront777

      from Alamo, CA

      Comments about LP Splash-Claw:

This is a solid idea, but I gave features a "6" because it could be better. First off, I have a 10" splash mounted on it, coming off of my 16" floor tom. This set up works very well, except for one thing: adjusment. The only adjustment features are height and horizontal rotation. You can't adjust the angle at which the cymbal is tilted at. This requires that you have your drum at the same angle you want your cymbal. For me I got lucky, and the angle of my cymbal works fine. But be aware, this is not nearly as adjustable as this product may advertise, and is also not nearly as adjustable as some of the other stands out there.
