I have had this drum kit since 2000 and it's been holding up really well. This kit is great for beginners and even experienced drummers who do not want to spend a lot of money on a kit.

Not bad drum set

By good set

from somewhere

This set isn't too bad for what you are paying for. i have had it for two years now and its still holding up. since i've had this set I've replace the snare with a piccolo and i've added more cymbals I've heard that the pedal isn't too good on it but find it to work just fine.

Great Full Kit

By GuerrillaJon

I'm not new to drums, nor am I a professional, but these were great for having a full set up, and they are very sharp looking (I got the black ones). The cymbals aren't the greatest, and will be replaced soon, but it was really cool, to open up the boxes, and put them together (they were partially assembled), and play right away.

Love the sound

I love the way this drum set sounds. The toms are very good but i still had to change the pedal like with any other drum set in this prize range.

By drummer2349

I purchased the Mapex v about a week ago. It is my first set and i love it. For the price it is amazing how this set sounds. I am in a band and it's awesome sounding. The only thing i suggest getting is new cymbals, but overall if you on are a bugdet this is the set you should get.
